2023: Opening of the second surgical building of the Medassist medical center for 700 million rubles
On August 25, 2023, the second surgical building of the Medassist medical center (part of the Medskan group of companies) was opened in Kursk.
As noted, the total investment in the object with an area of 4.5 thousand square meters. m amounted to 700 million rubles. The building includes an anesthesiological and resuscitation unit, a 24-hour hospital with 28 beds, a clinical laboratory, a reception department for emergency patients, a polyclinic unit. There are three innovative operating OR1 designed for urological, neurosurgical and orthopedic interventions, one of them is equipped with a robot-assisted surgical system da Vinci. A separate unit for conducting chemotherapy sessions is provided, in the near future the office of SPECT-CT (single-photon emission computed tomography) will begin work.
The event dedicated to the opening of the corps was attended by the heads of the Medassist MC, Medskan Group of Companies and Rusatom Healthcare JSC (Health Technologies division, which accumulates the expertise of Rosatom State Corporation in the field of health), Minister of Health of the Kursk Region Ekaterina Pismennaya, chief urologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, MD, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Dmitry Push, President of the Russian for Endourology and New Technologies Technologies, MD, Professor, Alexey Correspondent.
According to Leonid Konorev, General Director of Medassist Management Company LLC, the opening of the second surgical building will increase the level and quality of high-tech medical care, and productive interaction with the government of the Kursk region will make it possible to provide it to even more patients.
