RAC MiG starts operation of the protected network of information exchange

The LETA company completed the project of creation of a system of safe transfer of confidential information between branches of MiG Russian aircraft corporation. As a basis the solution Stonesoft StoneGate FW/VPN is used.

Start

The Corporation was faced by a task - to build the system of ensuring safe exchange of confidential information between business divisions using the Internet.

The customer made a number of demands among which were: a connectivity to a local network of Corporation of remote users from any personal computer; full-fledged remote control and monitoring of the functioning system; reliable system of firewalling; support of Multi-Link technology for work with several providers of communication; existence of an analysis system of detection of invasions; high fault tolerance and scaling option; support of digital certificates; existence of FSTEC certificates of Russia.

The solution on the basis of the product Stonesoft StoneGate FW/VPN as the most full conforming to functional requirements and the available network infrastructure was as a result selected.

Implementation was performed by Leta company.

Solution

At the first stage specialists of integrator carried out the analysis of network, activity in the field of IT and cybersecurity and also the existing documents. The next stage was devoted to joint formation of technical specifications on the system of ensuring safe information exchange. The third stage - implementation. On final, the fourth, a stage a system passed the test program and is transferred to the mode of production operation.

Result

The system of protection of data transmission channels put into commercial operation providing safe exchange of confidential information between branches of MiG Russian aircraft corporation became result of the performed works.
