History

2008

In November, 2008 it became known of what the Leta IT-company company purchased the Ural solution provider of automated process control systems (APCS) - ASK group. As declared the parties, it is the largest transaction in the Russian IT market in 2008.

Transaction amount was 442 million rubles Software to its conditions, in the fourth quarter 2008 of Leta IT-company received a controlling stake (51%) of ASK Group, and in the first quarter 2009 - will increase the share to 75%.

The most part of obligations of Leta under this transaction is connected with investment into business development of ASK, at the same time these obligations should be fulfilled in the first half of 2009. Renaming of ASK Group was not planned.

2010

As CNews knew, the board member and the co-owner of Leta Group Anton Sokolov left the company and sold the stocks owned by it. Also he resigned as the commercial director of Leta IT-company system integrator (enters into Leta Group).

The position of the commercial director of Leta IT-company was held by Alexander Belkin who worked in this company earlier. The place of the top manager in Board of Directors, perhaps, will be occupied by the CEO of Leta IT-company Andrey Konusov, Alexander Chachava says. Now except Chachava and Sergey Piltsov the vice president for the international projects Andrey Albitov and Evgeny Sharovarin, the founder of the ASK Ural company which is engaged in the PCS and entering into group enter him.

• On October 7, 2010 announced LETA IT-company obtaining the license FSB Russia for an implementation of works, the data connected with use which are the state secret. The license is granted by the Department of FSB of Russia on To Moscow and the Moscow region, registration number 18134 of September 28, 2010.

According to Federal Law No. 5485-I "About the state secret" of July 21, 1993 activity of the enterprises for creation of information security tools, implementation of actions and rendering services in protection of a state secret is subject to obligatory licensing. Also licensing is necessary if the organization uses information which is the state secret in the work. At the same time the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of February 11, 2006 No. 90 "About the list of the data carried to the state secret" defines that certain data in the military sphere, in economy, science and technology, in foreign policy and also in the field of prospecting, counterprospecting and investigation and search operations get to this category. Respectively, the wide range of the organizations which at solving of tasks of cybersecurity can involve only the contractors and partners having the above-stated license is enough.

For LETA IT-company work with the state customers is one of the priority directions of business. Today in this segment of the Russian market of cybersecurity complex projects on personal data protection and implementation of systems for prevention of leakages of confidential data (DLP) and also check of compliance of cybersecurity organizational technical means to requirements of regulating documents and standards (compliance) and, in particular, training of customers for passing of the corresponding certifications are most demanded. The license of FSB of Russia allows LETA IT-company to execute more than such projects, to expand considerably a circle of consumers of the services in a public sector, to execute projects in the companies and the organizations where works are performed in special regime zones. It, first of all, the enterprises of military industrial complex and nuclear sector, the state and private companies performing the defense order and also some state institutions.

2011

• February, 2011: It is announced obtaining the certificate of conformity of the quality management system (QMS) to requirements of international standard ISO/IEC 9001:2008 of Quality management systems – Requirement. Audit and certification one of the most authoritative certification bodies in the Russian market carried out representative office of British Standards Institute (British Standards Institution, or BSI). The received certificate certifies that in LETA company all set of processes meets the requirements of ISO 9001 for provision of services in the field of cybersecurity, including consulting, implementation of technical solutions and also project management and quality management. Besides, the certified area includes the major auxiliary processes, in particular, personnel management and labor protection and also the organization of control of the products and services received from suppliers and subcontractors.

• June, 2011: It is announced completion of Certification audit of the information security management system (ISMS) on compliance to requirements of ISO 27001 and obtaining the Certificate of conformity (No. IS 569504). Audit and certification were carried out by representative office of British Standards Institute (British Standards Institute, or BSI), one of the most authoritative certification bodies in the Russian market. The confirmed compliance of SUIB to requirements of ISO 27001 can be considered as such guarantee, but only provided that the field of certification includes means of protecting of really important processes, and these means constantly function. The stated zone of certification covers all work with the information obtained from clients and created by specialists of LETA within projects and when rendering the typified services. In other words, the certificate certifies preserving of a trade secret of clients and the company LETA and also personal data of employees and partners within the main production process "Rendering consulting services on creation of information security systems, including implementation of technical solutions" (Providing of professional IS consulting and compliance management services including integrated solutions implementation). At the same time were selected key under processes: project management, consulting of information security, implementation of technical means of information security. Let's emphasize that the scope of all key processes when carrying out certification of SUIB cardinally distinguishes approach of LETA company from practice, typical for the Russian market, when certification audit takes place security of minor processes, for example, of technical support of clients or work of personnel department.

• The LETA company, being one of leaders of the Russian information security market, the first ordered service in certification of KSUP from PM Expert. The result of audit showed compliance of the Project management system of LETA to requirements of PM Expert. The assessment of KSUP was carried out by the unique techniques developed by PM Expert on the basis of international standards and best practices and included the analysis of regulating documents of the company in the field of project management, an interview with participants of project activity, a research of reporting documents on project management. Assessment procedure had comprehensive character and affected all critical fields of project management. During certification auditors of PM Expert highly appreciated quality of development of regulating documents on project management of the company, functionality of the software and also an effective technique of quality control of project management and assessment of satisfaction of the customer.

2013

• On July 11, 2013 the LETA company announced completion of test audit of the information security management system (ISMS) on compliance to requirements of ISO 27001. Audit was booked by representative office of British Standards Institute (British Standards Institute, or BSI). The certificate of conformity (No. IS 569504) received by LETA company in June, 2011 certifies preserving of a trade secret of clients and the company LETA and also personal data of employees and partners within the main production process "Rendering consulting services on creation of information security systems, including implementation of technical solutions". LETA became the first specialized cybersecurity company in Russia which certified the main sphere of activity on compliance to ISO 27001. ISO 27001 sets requirements to an information security management system for demonstration of capability of the organization to protect the information resources. During certification the accredited agency auditor studies all necessary documents in detail, holds testing of the implemented security measures and assessment of their efficiency. Certification also assumes periodic implementation of inspection audit for confirmation of conformity of the certified organization to the stated requirements.
