2021: Energy Conservation Management Pilot

The National Center for Informatization of Rostec State Corporation implemented a pilot project on energy conservation management at the Republican Medical Information and Analytical Center of Dagestan. The solution ensures continuous monitoring of energy resources and energy safety of medical equipment. Rostec announced this on October 28, 2021.

The institution has a software and hardware complex based on high-tech engineering and IT infrastructure. During the pilot operation, it was confirmed that the equipment allows to effectively protect the MIAC infrastructure from seasonal and daily power fluctuations.

The capabilities of the pilot center in the future will allow creating industry systems for automated integrated accounting of energy resources and ensuring the safety of expensive equipment. The creation of a unified integrated energy accounting system will help to develop measures to improve energy efficiency throughout the region. In addition, the project will allow the Dagestan Ministry of Health to ensure the technological safety of medical equipment, "said Konstantin Solodukhin, Director General of the National Research Center.

One of the key elements of the implemented software and hardware complex is the digital optimizers of energy consumption produced by the Vector Research Institute of Roselectronika Holding (part of Rostec). They are designed to normalize voltage on the end user side. The devices are designed to build protected power supply systems for objects when voltage deviates from the required parameters and exclude unplanned equipment disconnection. The solution provides direct savings in power consumption and increases energy efficiency in ~ 220V and ~ 380V power supply networks.

Maintaining the effective functioning of the infrastructure is important for the smooth operation of medical and social departments. The software and hardware complex was installed in the Republican Information and Analytical Center, subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Dagestan, in September 2021. During use, it shows itself well, copes with existing technical tasks. We still have a difficult summer period of heavy load on the electric networks, we think that the supplied technical equipment will cope with this task, "said Mazai Ramazanov, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Dagestan.
