Content

The JSC Mostotrest company completed the project of creation of an information and analytical system based on the software of SAP BusinessObjects. Contractor of the project of Tern Ltd.

Preproject status

The support system of acceptance of management decisions became a necessity for JSC Mostotrest, an important element of strategy of increase in managerial effectiveness the projects performed within an extensive branch network.

The new information and analytical system was designed to accelerate processing of information and data exchange between divisions, to provide operational providing all necessary data on a company performance.

Project

Within project implementation of system development, specialists of Tern Ltd construct a subsystem the plan component analysis which was integrated further into a single system of decision support based on the SAP products BusinessObjects.

This solution allows to reduce time expenditure by collecting, check, consolidation and data analysis, in a foreground mode to carry out profound data analysis at the different levels of company management.

Execution

Project implementation took place in two stages. In the beginning the data warehouse was created and loading procedures, consolidations and cleanings are developed. All data sent from territorial branches are located with a system in storage, and further can be used in analytical applications. A system automatically consolidates data and shows a picture, both on each territorial subdivision, and on all company in general. Besides, the versatile tool of the analysis – a dashboard of the head was provided to the management of JSC Mostotrest.

Within the second stage of the project transition from the Excel program used earlier to the SAP BusinessObjects platform was performed and two types of the external and internal reporting under the company in general and on structural divisions (branches) which reflect financial and economic indicators of JSC Mostotrest are developed.

About results - the customer and the developer

Consolidation of a huge array of analytical information on all activities of the company, gave a basis for operational decision making and effective management of branches, subsidiaries and affiliates. Implementation of an information and analytical system allowed the company to increase efficiency of data view on settlement between branches at the expense of the effective cross analysis, Vladimir Monastyryov, the chief of economical management of JSC Mostotrest considers.

Possibilities of SAP solutions of BusinessObjects allow the management of the large companies to make the fast and effective decisions based on the most up-to-date and consistent data of the company that increases competitiveness in today's realities of the market - such is opinion of Roman Zhuravlyov, the deputy CEO of SAP CIS.
