Mosvodokanal completes implementation of EDMS

On March 18, 2014 the Systems and Projects group announced creation for Mosvodokanal company of a document management system and business processes on the platform of own solution IRM businessDoc.

Project Tasks

The main objective set for a project team - to set up the solution according to business processes of the customer.

Project Progress

A system was unrolled at capacities of data center of Mosvodokanal using Oracle Real Application Clusters - daily in it more than 800 documents are registered, during the trial operation which lasted one and a half months more than 60 thousand documents and instructions are registered.

Before implementation of new EDMS in the company used other product — electronic office Cinderella.

Converting of documents from the old program for two previous years is carried out.

As a part of functionality - integration into the public portal of Mosvodokanal. The ergonomic interface is developed, the mobile client for work of management with iPhone and iPad is implemented.

Project Results

"In the conditions of centralization of different divisions and services it was important to us to create uniform "tree" and to implement new rules of work with documents. A basic difference was here that not only the clerical staff, but also all employees of the company worked with documents" — Olga Chuparnova, the chief of staff of the CEO of Mosvodokanal emphasized.

EDMS was unrolled and started at the central office and 14 remote divisions in Moscow, the Moscow and Smolensk regions.

L.V. Golovin the deputy chief engineer of JSC Mosvodokanal noted that: "Before making decision on the choice of the platform overload tests with loading were carried out to system 5 of summer volume of documents. A system passed tests. It is also worth noting high scalability of the platform at the time of implementation we planned only 400 users, but already in half a year after start in commercial operation in a system more than one thousand users really worked"
