In plans of Motor equipment of a CAD of jobs of technologists

The developer of aviation engines of NPP Motor automates technology preparation of production using the solution of Ascon of a CAD of TP "Vertical", the company integrator in the project ASCON-Ufa reported on June 7, 2013.

Background

NPP Motor is included into the "Engines for Fighting Aircraft" division created within United Engine Corporation. In May, 2013 technology services of NPP Motor started commercial operation of a new system of technology preparation of production which part the CAD of TP "Vertical", "Corporate Reference Book Materials and Ranges", "Electronic Reference Book by the Designer" and a CAD Compas-Grafik were. 50 technologists work with software products of Ascon.

Preparation

Transition to new instruments of design was preceded by training. Work with a CAD of TP "Vertical" eight groups of production engineers and group of administrators studied.

Separate stage of the project - the organization of the automated workplace (AW) of the technologist of machine-assembling production. In four months the implementation team from NPP Motor and ASCON-Ufa resolves tasks:

• development and approval of technical specifications on creation of an automated workplace;
• setup of a data model of a CAD of TP "Vertical" according to technical specifications;
• setup of a form of technology;
• setup of forms of technology documents;
• development and approval of the instruction for work with an automated workplace;
• development and approval of the program and test procedure of an automated workplace;
• carrying out tests of an automated workplace;
• user training to work in the automated workplace.

Evgeny Zinovyev, the chief engineer of NPP Motor, noted: "Before implementation of a CAD of TP "Vertical" technology processes were projected using the volumes of technology reference books existing at the enterprise decades and on the basis of personal knowledge of the technologist. At best something was partially automated in separate workplaces, at the level of usual means of the office suite. Far on such baggage, taking into account modern requirements of job order production, you will not leave. Complex approach on the basis of the uniform principles providing accumulation and protection of competences of the enterprise in technology preparation of production, the modern friendly user interface providing minimization of errors at input and processing of technology data and accelerating release of technology documentation was necessary. For today it is completely provided".
