2023: Implementation of AXELOT WMS

Nortex has increased the efficiency of warehouse logistics with the help of AXELOT WMS. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on October 13, 2023.

Warehouse automation made it possible to increase the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations by implementing address storage, performing actions with the product online using shipping documentation, as well as AXELOT WMS planning mechanisms.

Nortex provides an opportunity for customers to test product samples from the warehouse. A "sample" is a small amount of product that is formed from products for sale and has its own individual packaging and labeling. The preparation of samples from the goods in storage was sold in WMS.

In the CIS, the document "Internal movement of goods" is formed, which in WMS creates a shipment order with the type "Samples." The system plans to select piece goods from the product storage area for retail sale. The collector, having selected the required quantity, moves the selected product to the sample storage area, after which a label with the name and barcode of the product is printed. Upon completion of the selection, the system uploads the data to the CIS for execution inside the stock transfer of goods.

Due to all these operations, the CIS always knows in real time the exact number of items related to samples, which allows purchasing managers to plan customer shipments correctly.

In order to ensure reliable online data exchange, Datareon Platform was used between AXELOT WMS and CIS company. Specialists from Nortex implemented the refinement of the flight unloading processor from the CIS.

The "Flight" document is generated in the CIS and unloaded to AXELOT WMS. Orders are started in selection planning according to the date and time of shipment specified on the flight. AXELOT WMS groups the tasks for selection and shipment on the selected flight, after which one of the employees is appointed by the contractor and is responsible for performing tasks on this particular flight.

During the project, the printed form of the MKh-7 "Act of discrepancies during movements" was implemented. For prompt notification of the employee who is responsible for a specific receipt in the warehouse, a mail delivery of the printed MKh-7 form was developed. The upload event is WMS completion of the Expected Acceptance document with discrepancies.

The introduction of AXELOT WMS helped Nortex increase the accuracy of order assembly, automate in-house operations and comply with FEFO principles. The company is ready to offer customers a higher level service, and also got the opportunity to further improve logistics.
