2023: Agreement to scale the ERA Dispatching service

Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrei Nikitin and General Director of GLONASS JSC Alexei Raikevich signed a cooperation agreement on June 16, 2023. The document envisages the introduction of Russian information technologies and navigation solutions for the development of transport and housing and communal services in the region.

Within the framework of the agreement, it is planned to scale the ERA Dispatching service, created on the basis of the ERA-GLONASS state information system, to all regional passenger buses, including inter-municipal routes. Previously, such a decision was tested on public transport in Veliky Novgorod.

"ERA dispatching" helps manage traffic in real time, including scheduling, monitoring compliance with routes and work schedules. With the help of such a system reliable data about the movement of public transport become available in. During the pilot project, over 240 vehicles were used on 53 routes. More than 600 stopping points and 200 traffic schedules were introduced into the system.

In February 2011, relevant agreements were signed with the Novgorod and Pskov regions, the Kamchatka Territory and the Republic of Chuvashia.
