Orange Business Services declared business development of DPC

On March 1, 2016 the Orange Business Services service provider announced signing of the 10-year contract with operator of the Russian data center IXcellerate for placement in data center of IXcellerate Moscow One more than 300 racks^[1].

Project Tasks

Contract signature was preceded by 10 months of work on carrying out the tender for the choice of the supplier and to contract negotiation. Orange Business Services imposed high requirements to equipment of data center, viability of its systems, certification and level of technical support.

In the hall of DPC of IXcellerate Moscow One (2014)

As a result of the tender the company stopped the choice on DPC of IXcellerate Moscow One.

Orange Business Services announced expansion of network of data processing centers in Russia. Within the contract with IXcellerate the company will occupy the working area of DPC more than 600 m ² - this project one of the most large-scale services of DPC in the market in Russia in recent years.

Within the contract Orange Business Services will unroll the operator communication hub on the basis of data center of IXcellerate. Zones for placement of technology equipment of Orange and the equipment of clients of the company are provided. The operator is going to provide different services on the platform of data center IXcellerate, being guided by domains:

• information security (a comprehensive protection of perimeter of network, authentication from a cloud, etc.);
• unified communications;
• cloud services;
• the managed mobile services.

Orange Business Services plans modular input of the equipment in work and as a result will occupy the most part of the machine hall put into operation in June, 2015, expected 490 racks.
