On September 8, 2022, Post Russia announced the start of the use of Solius electric minivans. These are machines manufactured by Electric Motor Transport.

Post Russia uses electric cars on administrative routes - for delivery to the central office of the Post in Moscow. During the pilot, experts will analyze the reduction of environmental impact, as well as the economic efficiency of the car.

"Post Russia" began to use electric trucks

The carrying capacity of the transferred Solius minivan is 600 kg, the volume of the cargo compartment is 3.7 m3, the power of the electric engine is 70 kW, the maximum speed is 120 km/h, and the range with a full battery of an electric car is 355 km. The time for slow battery charging is 5 hours, fast charging is no more than 40 minutes. In the future, the production of Solius electric vehicles "Electric Vehicles" plans to localize in Russia.

According to Sergei Sergushev, Deputy General Director of Russian Post for Logistics, the use of electric vehicles for administrative and economic tasks will allow us to get a detailed picture of their capabilities and potential in the company's logistics processes.
