2025: Server IT Infrastructure Update

iRU, Russian computer a manufacturer of equipment, completed a large-scale project to update server IT infrastructures a large distributor of a wide range of products. " Prime minister Representatives of iRU reported this on July 15, 2025.

Business growth and the move to a more resource-intensive management platform required the abandonment of legacy systems in favor of a high-performance, scalable solution. The basis of the new architecture was the equipment of the Russian manufacturer iRU.

Before the modernization of the infrastructure, the company faced serious restrictions: the server worked at the limit of capabilities, the central processor was 100% loaded, the database reached 800 GB, and the version 1C used did not meet modern loads. At the same time, the existing "hardware" did not allow further upgrade - neither in terms of the amount of RAM, nor in terms of processor power.

To eliminate these bottlenecks, a new architecture was implemented: the functional roles of the servers were separated, which allowed to balance the load and increase the reliability of services. The iRU Rock G2212A and iRU Rock G4224P servers were chosen as the hardware base - devices developed for high computing and disk load tasks. One server is responsible for running high-load applications (including the new version of 1S:KA 2.5), the second for storing and processing data.

Particular attention was paid to fault tolerance: when one of the servers fails, the second temporarily takes over its functions. Scalability is also laid down: increasing the amount of RAM, installing an NVMe SSD and other growth parameters necessary for the long-term stable operation of the infrastructure.

The project was implemented by the Smart Solutions integrator, which ensured the selection, supply and implementation of equipment, as well as the adaptation of the entire system to the needs of the customer.

According to the results of the project, the company's performance increased by 31%: according to the Gilev test, new equipment showed 42 conventional units against 32 earlier. Overloads were also eliminated and downtime risks were reduced, which increased the stability of services. In addition, the new architecture allows resource growth without stopping services and additional investments.

Support from iRU does not stop, the company's specialists will ensure stable operation and prompt solution of technical issues.
