According to plastinfo, the launch of television production was the result of a partnership between a Russian manufacturer of household appliances and a Chinese technology company. VVP Tech CEO Konstantin Dessler noted that the start of production of television sets under the Dreame brand represents an important stage for the company and the Russian electronics market. He stressed the company's readiness to expand cooperation with other brands-manufacturers to strengthen production capacity and have a positive impact on the country's economy.

Dessler said the new production will offer consumers high-quality products at competitive prices, which will increase the availability of modern technology to a wide audience. The company plans to release TVs in seven popular diagonals to meet the various needs of customers.

VVP Tech operates two production sites in the Moscow and Kaluga regions with a total area of over 250 thousand square meters. The total capacity of enterprises allows the production of up to 10 million devices annually, which provides significant potential for the development of electronics production.

According to data, Rosstat the production of television receivers in Russia in May 2025 amounted to 121.4 thousand units. This figure was 36.6% lower than the result of April and 40.5% less than the level of May 2024, which demonstrates a difficult situation in the industry.

Since the beginning of 2025, 699.5 thousand televisions have been produced in the country, which is 31.9% less than the result of the same period in 2024 and 73% lower than the indicator of the first five months of 2021. The launch of new production can help improve the statistical performance of the industry.[2]
