2024: Continued development of logistics

PROFIT LOGISTIC continues to develop logistics with AXELOT, as last reported on February 8, 2024.

PROFIT LOGISTIC uses AXELOT to automate warehouse processes and charge and bill services.

PROFIT LOGISTIC is a 3PL operator that serves the work the Kazakhstan of divisions of international brands. Together with AXELOT, the company implements the warehouse logistics automation project - it implements AXELOT WMS it at various sites to automate technological processes billing and services. The system has already been implemented and configured for the specifics of the company engaged in the production and sale of household appliances and. electronic engineers Following the pilot project, PROFIT LOGISTIC and AXELOT continued their collaboration and completed the automation of responsible storage services for distributor elite alcoholic and soft drinks.

The business processes of this customer were significantly different from what was implemented on the previous site, so this project cannot be called replicating the solution. The AXELOT project team again needed to further study the processes and requirements for cargo processing and customize the system for the needs and specifics of the new PROFIT LOGISTIC client.

Nevertheless, all work was completed in a short time, the launch of AXELOT WMS took place quickly - the industry specifics of the distribution of alcoholic beverages are well known to AXELOT specialists, and the system in basic functionality has all the necessary tools for managing the warehouse processing of this type of product.

AXELOT WMS was integrated into DATAREON Platform-configured exchange as part of the first project. The second client information system PROFIT LOGISTIC has been added to the information loop.

As part of the project, batch accounting has been implemented, the selection of orders is carried out strictly in accordance with the batches specified in the formed task for selection. AXELOT WMS also monitors the remaining shelf life of goods and automatically transfers goods from the quality of "Good" to "Expired shelf life" if the shelf life is up to the minimum specified in the settings.

Thanks to AXELOT WMS, PROFIT LOGISTIC has automated the charging and billing processes of warehouse services for another customer. The system allows you to increase the transparency of accounting for goods movement, accurately calculate the time spent on warehouse operations, calculate the very number of operations performed and take into account the groups of goods for setting up different tariffs.

2023: Axelot WMS Rollout

3PL operator PROFIT LOGISTIC, serving the international company, with the help of AXELOT WMS charged and set up cargo processing processes in accordance with customer standards. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on October 18, 2023.

Together with AXELOT PROFIT LOGISTIC implemented AXELOT WMS for process automation and service billing. The system has been implemented and customized for the specific business processes and requirements of the Customer.

When implementing the system, it was important to take into account the specifics of cargo handling of the adjuster for both B2C retail customers and large B2B wholesale customers.

The belonging to the shipping format is specified in the shipping category at the level of the order itself. Then B2B orders are selected for Europalets, and B2C orders are packed. Fragile goods, such as laptops, monitors, memory cards, etc. are stacked in separate boxes, and also packed in a protective film - all these operations are controlled by the WMS.

In accordance with the customer's request, AXELOT WMS has modified the print forms of accompanying documents for both the B2B and B2C segments.

Also, in AXELOT WMS, the automatic distribution of goods by storage areas was configured - for each type of equipment in the warehouse there is a different place and type of storage:

  • Large household appliances are located in a floor storage area;
  • Medium appliances are placed in a rack storage area;
  • Small appliances are also stored on racks, but in a separate area from medium appliances;
  • Electronics are located in the area with shelf racks;
  • A separate area is allocated for advertising and packaging materials.

In addition, the system implements accounting rules for various groups of goods, which include "Large-sized equipment," "Medium-sized equipment," "Small-sized equipment," "Electronics." The technique is taken into account in the following sections:

  • Batch accounting (where a batch is a delivery document);
  • Serial accounting of each item during acceptance and shipment.

Since the customer's goods are of various sizes, warehouse personnel often had to spend time transferring the selected cargo items to order in order to optimally place them taking into account weight and volume. Now AXELOT WMS plans to select goods in such a way that heavy equipment has always been at the bottom.

The AXELOT specialists solved the problem of building an integration loop by implementing a scalable and fault-tolerant low-code Datareon Platform. Through DATAREON Platform, WMS file exchange was configured immediately with the controller CIS. Standard tools DATAREON Platform and AXELOT WMS implemented exchange protocols taking into account historical features: a variable composition of significant details, responses enriched with atypical data based on the results of operations, the ability to re-request the results of applications.

With the help of WMS, PROFIT LOGISTIC fully automated not only the processes related to cargo processing, but also the processes of charging and billing warehouse services. The system calculates the cost of daily storage depending on the weight and size characteristics of the goods, and also calculates the transactions related to the acceptance and shipment of goods, with the possibility of applying different tariffs for different groups of goods.
