The warehouse of Promkhim company will work for RS-Balance 3 WMS

R-Style Softlab announced in the fall of 2012 the beginning of cooperation with Promkhim LLC company — one of the largest retailers of the North Caucasian Federal District. The commercial areas of Promkhim are 100000 sq.m, from them 6000 sq.m are taken away under trade warehouse. The assortment list contains about 8500 names of construction and finishing materials.

Due to growth of sales volumes and increase in quantity of goods items, employees of a warehouse could not provide the required accuracy and speed of assembly of orders. As a result the management of Promkhim LLC made the decision on implementation of the automated control system for a warehouse. After the careful research of the market, specialists of Promkhim LLC stopped the choice on the RS-Balance 3 WMS system of R-Style Softlab company.

Key advantage of RS-Balance 3 WMS is that a system allows to control in real time quality of works at all stages of accomplishment of a task, keeping at the same time in a feedback on all chain of document flow. Besides, RS-Balance 3 WMS provides providing necessary and sufficient information on any level of management for performance monitoring of work and decision making.

At the moment business analysts of R-Style Softlab together with a project team of Promkhim LLC perform preproject inspection of business processes of a warehouse that as a result will allow to develop in details schemes of warehouse processes of the company and more accurately to create technical specifications. It will significantly facilitate works on setup of a system in the future.

Upon completion of the project the staff of R-Style Softlab automates activity of one of warehouses of the company with a total area of 3500 sq.m. Within implementation customization of RS-Balance 3 WMS will be carried out and also integration with the accounting system operating at the enterprise is executed and the personnel of a warehouse are trained.

As a result the company will receive the tool which will allow to increase service quality at simultaneous cutting of costs for storage, processing and distribution of goods.

Input of a system in trial operation is going to be performed until the end of 2012.
