Raduml implemented a security system based on the cameras Mobotix

On March 18, 2019 the Mobotix company reported that it together with Office Anatomy developed and implemented an end-to-end system of security using the system of face recognition and license plate numbers in the logistic center "Radumlya". Within the project video surveillance systems of Mobotix, software for face recognition of Herta and the system of video management Milestone were implemented. Installation of video cameras allowed to provide control of security on an object with daily passability of 50,000 people.

According to the company, the wholesale distribution center of agricultural products of Raduml with a total area of 700 thousand sq.m renders custodial services, transfers and distributions of large batches of products. The warehouse accepts a large number of visitors: once on the platform there can be about 5000 people and also passenger and cargo transport. In the territory of a warehouse there is no check mode: one its part is located indoors, and another – in the street territory. Project participants were faced by a difficult task: ensure safety of the large center with difficult infrastructure.

On parking meters, travel points and in places of the greatest accumulation of people 50 cameras Mobotix S15D with the resolution of 6 megapixels which provide high quality of record both in the afternoon, and at night were mounted. Devices with the system of protection against vandalism were compactly placed thanks to split edit of lenses and control blocks. As the system integrator in the project the Office Anatomy company, the supplier engineering and IT-systems for business acted.

We recognized the principle that the security system should work for warning and prevention of incidents. The most difficult in the project was to develop the solution which would provide full compatibility of all elements: systems of face recognition, video management, technology of time compression, surveillance cameras. Control of cameras is exercised by means of the software of Milestone completely compatible to the cameras Mobotix at the technology level. For face recognition it was used Herta software, the providing exact recognition even in the conditions of insufficient illumination.

The video surveillance system allows a security service to react quickly to incidents, and to the management far off to be connected and watch video as in real time, and from archive. Thanks to security system implementation in the wholesale distribution center automatic identification of incidents – became possible if the person violates rules, it is entered in the special list. A system distinguishes violators in crowd and transmits a signal to security guards.

The wholesale logistic center "Radumlya" is a huge hi-tech object. Here it is very difficult to implement an end-to-end system of security as in fact there is no perimeter: people freely come and come. In such situation it is impossible to do without the system of automatic face recognition. However in order that it worked, the high-quality equipment which will work equally well irrespective of weather — even during a rain and twilight is necessary.
