Road clinical hospital (SAM)

"The road clinical hospital" (Khabarovsk) – Russian Railway affiliated enterprise – completed an implementation project of technology of software management (Software Asset Management, SAM). The hospital is completely computerized, and all divisions are connected by a single network therefore the issue of optimization of the used software tools for its management was very relevant. Minimization of financial expenses on software and also an exception of the legal risks arising when using non-licensed products also became the main objective of the project. It is important to note that the purpose not just achievements of complete legality of software in the present, but also maintenance of this mode in the future was set.

During the project specialists of Softline audited software. Its results forced the management of hospital to prick up the ears: level of legitimacy of the used software was only 74%. Further the technology of management of program assets developed by Softline was implemented. For development in the field of SAM hospital received both necessary tools, and the description of strategic objectives and tasks. It should be noted that the project was carried out completely on the basis of remote access.
