2020: Completion of upgrade of a system of portfolio management of Rosatom

On October 2, 2020 it became known that in the summer of 2020 the project team of Project PRAKTIKA Group responsible for implementation of domestic IT solution of software of ASU-Invest in the large state and commercial organizations completed implementation of the version of the Management system for a portfolio for the project of ROSATOM State Corporation – the information system "Sirius" (IC "Sirius").

The team of the developer fulfilled professionally, qualitatively, taking into account our wishes. In the short term we plan import substitution of the environment of functioning of a system and further development of the information system "Sirius". We will be glad to cooperation with a team of the developer.

As it was explained, since 2016 in ROSATOM State Corporation for project portfolio management and programs of nuclear sector the information system "Sirius" created by specialists of Project PRAKTIKA Group is used. A main objective of creation of a system was process optimization of investment and project activity, in particular, of project portfolio management of corporation with the necessary detail level and also increase in efficiency and quality of the investment solutions given for acceptance.

In 2018 the project on implementation of the third queue of development of the IC "Sirius" started. In upgraded version it was necessary

  • refuse earlier used Microsoft SharePoint platform (within the import substitution program of the Uniform Digital Strategy (UDS) of ROSATOM State Corporation),
  • observe relevant requirements for security of information,
  • consider the received wishes and proposals of users.

As the platform of upgraded version of the IC "Sirius" it was decided to use upgraded version of software of ASU-Invest.

On project deliverables operation of the IC "Sirius" was optimized performance, the convenience and ease of use of a system increased, hints and indicators were added, analytical reports are processed.

Along with it the financial subsystem is developed for ensuring convenience of input and control of financial data, additional functional user requirements within the automated business processes are implemented.

Observance of the last requirements of FSTEC of Russia in information security field, in particular the Order of FSTEC of Russia of July 20, 2018 No. 131 setting application of the trust levels and also internal regulating documents of nuclear sector was an important part of project works.

Upgraded version of the IC "Sirius" was designed in the protected execution on the basis of use of the software tool of data protection (TDP) "ASU-Invest" certified by FSTEC of Russia on the 6th trust level. The built-in information security tools from unauthorized access" (the certificate of conformity of FSTEC of Russia No. 4227 of 2/21/2020).

Thanks to availability of the information security facility "ASU-Invest" - the platform which for September, 2020 allows to build completely processes of investment and project activities and to provide at the same time necessary data protection in the state information systems (SIS) and information systems on personal data processing (ISPDN).

The final solution was certified by the customer's security requirements specialists for information systems of a similar class.

Within the project we processed the user interface of a system, reviewed approaches to the user interaction with a system on the basis of the received feedback. As Sirius forms a basis to automation of portfolio management in the industry, it was important to improve how users work with it, being guided both by trends in the field of UI/UX, and by requirements of a brendbuk of ROSATOM State Corporation. COVID-19 pandemic was one of the risks which came true on the project which is usually described only in textbooks. Despite complication of logistics and numerous quarantine restrictions we minimized risk effects for the project and could finish trial operation of a system and carry out all works on input of a system to continuous operation at the scheduled time.

Use of upgraded version of ASU-Invest provides to Customers competitive advantages, allowing to do the strategy of Corporation adaptive. Use of advanced technologies of strategic, portfolio, project, product and process management allows the Customer to increase controllability and flexibility of Corporation in short terms, to initiate and carry out programs of development, reorganization and retrofitting more effectively. All technologies used at implementation of ASU-Invest are optimized and checked on large-scale hi-tech projects, including in Rosatom State Corporation, the Government of Moscow, etc.

Upgraded version of ASU-Invest is constructed based on the last perspective technologies of the IT industry open source. Domestic software ASU-Invest gives the chance to the Customer to follow the strategy of import substitution, implementing ASU-Invest or replacing such import software products as SAP PPM HP PPM , etc.
