2020: Plans for equipment by the system of counteraction to UAVs

The Avtomatika concern of State Corporation Rostec signed the delivery agreement of the systems of counteraction to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the benefit of PJSC Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez, one of the largest oil refineries of Russia. The equipment will be supplied in the III quarter 2020. On May 18, 2020 Rostec reported about it.

The Automatic equipment systems are intended for the complex organization of counteraction to drones. Developments of concern allow to detect and suppress pilotless devices, including - which perform flight in the mode of radio silence or mask the radio signal under other sources, at distance to 30 km both in manual, and in automatic the modes. Besides, systems are capable to define location of operators of such UAVs.

Terrorist attacks on objects of oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia demonstrated what threat UAVs can pose for the civil companies worldwide, including Russia. Even amateur drones can be used for observation, investigation, to bear explosive or other arms. The enterprises of Rostec, first of all Avtomatika concern, offer a big line of means of fight against the UAV of the different spectrum of action. In them special algorithms which do not break work of surrounding info telecommunication systems are used. Such equipment can safely and effectively be used in city conditions and on hi-tech industrial facilities, commented the chief executive of Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko.

For May 18, 2020 in an exploration portfolio of Avtomatika concern of State Corporation Rostec of a system of counteraction to the Pishchal-PRO, TARAN-PRO and Sapsan-Bekas unmanned aerial vehicles. Among the last developments ⎼ a complex of counteraction to the Rubezh-Avtomatika unmanned aerial vehicles. Its key advantage – a "intellectual" management system which can detect and neutralize drones without participation of the person. "Rubezh-Avtomatika" it can be used in field and city conditions and take place on the open land areas, on roofs of buildings or constructions.
