2020: The agreement on delivery of motor transport

PJSC KAMAZ and JSC Russian Post signed the agreement of intent. Signatures under the document were appended by the CEOs of the companies Sergey Kogogin and Maxim Akimov. On July 27, 2020 Russian Post reported about it.

Russian Post KamAZ

According to the technical project of Russian Post the representative of the Russian cargo mechanical engineering will develop and will deliver in 2021 93 KamAZ trucks - 5325 on the compressed natural gas (CNG). Also "KAMAZ" will give to the partner for test operation two KamAZ trucks - 54901. Besides, in perspectives of cooperation of the companies joint development of digital services, predictive diagnostics and a monitoring system of transport.

Also precontracted work on delivery to Russian Post of a large batch of KAMAZ automotive equipment in the second half of the year 2020 is completed. It is about 110 KamAZ trucks - 5325 and 187 KAMAZ-5490 tractors, at the same time 184 KAMAZ-5490 trucks are going to be implemented in gas execution – on compressed natural gas. Cars on gas allow to reach savings in consumption of fuel to 60% and it is essential to reduce emissions in the atmosphere. Signing of the contract is previously planned for delivery in the summer of 2020.

We are ready to render assistance in implementation of major problems which face Russian Post. CAMAZ proposes solutions for development of the partner company among which KamAZ trucks - 5490 in gas execution – their efficiency in cutting of costs for cargo transportation is already confirmed by many Russian consumers. Also the partner will have an opportunity to estimate in actual practice our development which we only bring to the market – the trunk KAMAZ-54901 tractor, a leader of generation of K5, – the CEO of PJSC CAMAZ Sergey Kogogin commented.
