Rostelecom completed creation of a uniform corporate data network of Russian Post

2018: A single network of data transmission for Russian Post

On November 26, 2018 the company "Rostelecom" reported that it completed creation of a uniform corporate data network Russian Post which covered 37 thousand objects of a mail service. According to the company, it is the selected private network (IP VPN) with a possibility of high-speed access of century internet.

Equipment for November, 2018 of 37 thousand objects of Russian Post stable and modern communication channels is the infrastructure base which provides the continuity of work of key mail services. For November, 2018 their considerable part already passed into a digital format. It concerns written correspondence and departures with commodity investments and also logistics and financial services. In particular, in service of the simplified issue of departures using the simple electronic signature which allows to provide issue of departures without presentation of the passport is started and to lower holding time of clients.

The network infrastructure created by Rostelecom provides for November, 2018 interaction of more than 15 thousand departments of Post Bank with data processing centers.

Stable work of corporate network is a basis of modern digital services of Russian Post. Implementation of this project will allow the enterprise to develop, increasing quality of customer service, solving a broad spectrum of socially important tasks and expanding the list of the services provided to the population online.
