2Test delivered the industrial Ethernet switches for IP networks on objects of railway infrastructure

On June 20, 2018 it became known that within the long-term contract 2TEST performed deliveries of industrial switches Ethernet for creation of fault-tolerant IP- networks of transfer data on objects of railway infrastructure.

For many years the Bombardier Transportation (Signal) LLC company implements solutions in the field of railway automatic equipment (STsB), equipment of railway stations and stages the systems of microprocessor centralization of arrows and signals of EBI Lock 950.

Prerequisites

For effective project implementation and accomplishment of strict requirements for cybersecurity the customer needs the communication equipment of an industrial class of reliability steady against any potentially dangerous external influences.

Project Progress

As a result of long testing the Bombardier Transportation (Signal) LLC company made a choice for benefit of the industrial Ethernet switches of the Profimodul series released in Russia by company 2TEST. They can be installed both on the rolling stock, and on objects near railway lines.

Application of Bombardier Transportation (Signal) LLC of the Russian industrial Ethernet switches Profimodul in project implementation of re-equipment of the communication equipment of stations of the Moscow Central Ring (MCR) allowed to upgrade secure system of data transmission on railway passenger transport of Moscow.

PT535019 Profimodul

A series of the managed industrial Industrial Ethernet switches of PT535019 Profimodul is characterized by gigabit capacity and low power consumption, has several versions with different functional loading of ports. The strong metal body of industrial execution guarantees fault tolerance of the industrial Ethernet switch in any environmental conditions: at impact of vibrations and electromagnetic fields, a sharp temperature difference.

The switch of PT535019 Profimodul supports a set of functions and technologies of ensuring network security and completely meets the requirements of the customer to ensuring cyber security. Among them there is a support of SPAN and the SNMP v.3.0 protocol. with data encryption of USM and VACM.

PT535019 Profimodul is equipped with high-performance central processor ARM 800 MHz and the operating system Linux with fast loading. Industrial switch has a possibility of step-by-step updating built-in software, storages of configuration files, CLI scripts. Management and configuring is performed on Telnet SSH //Console or web to the browser under protocols HTTP / HTTPS.

Company 2Test in October, 2017 announced that it helps JSC RZD to create reliable base for high-quality railway services.

Since 2012 the company cooperates with Bombardier Transportation (Signal) LLC on deliveries of industrial equipment of communication for the Russian Railway, helping to optimize railway automatic equipment in Russia and on all "space 1520".

Prerequisites

Annual growth of number of passengers of railway transport in Russia forces JSC RZD to implement more and more modern technologies directed to optimization of rail transportation and quality of transport service.

Project Progress

The communication equipment supplied 2Test for the organization of high-speed industrial Ethernet- networks allows to provide high-quality technology services for passengers / d-transporta and workers of the railroad. In particular, based on industrial Ethernet security systems, signaling systems and IP-video surveillances on platforms, stations, transport, ways and traveling constructions are under construction.

The industrial Ethernet-network allows to automate control of work of vehicles, to equip trains with modern multimedia services (television and Wi-Fi communication for passengers). The broad spectrum of solutions 2Test for / d-otrasli includes: intelligent Ethernet switches, PoE-extenders, DSL modems, media converters, routers, PoE-injectors and splitters — all equipment is provided in the industrial protected execution for steady work under trying conditions to operation.

The applied solutions

As noted, on objects of railway transport industrial switches 2Test of the Russian production are used.

• 10-port industrial switches of Profiplus of PT735869 series of the Russian production certified for operation on railway transport according to the EN 50121 and EN 50125 standards allow to organize Ethernet-connection at distance of one meter from railroad tracks, provide high-speed data transmission.
• The industrial Ethernet switches of the Profimodul series constructed on modularity have high capacity in the compact body, are steady against external influences and ensure high-quality functioning of the systems of automatic equipment in the railway industry. Existence of copper ports with PoE/PoE support + allows to connect the noticeable number of additional devices, reduces expenses on power supply and excludes need of use of additional cables.
• Lines of the intelligent industrial PT8508, PT8305 and PT8510 switches 2Test meet all industry standards on ensuring high-speed gigabit connection and optimum are suitable for application in the systems of automatic equipment and security on railway transport.
