New compartment cars of distant following of the Russian Railway are equipped with the electroinstallation equipment Legrand

On April 30, 2019 it became known that the new compartment cars of distant following developed by Tver Carriage Works for JSC Russian Railways are equipped with the electroinstallation equipment Legrand. The presentation of the rolling stock executed in the form of two-carriage coupling took place on April 23, 2019 at the Riga station in Moscow.

The concept of two-carriage coupling allows to use most effectively internal space of the train for creation of comfort of passengers. In cars public additional zones - for example, premises with the refrigerator and the microwave oven, the coffee machine are organized. The transforming table, sun-protection and lightproof curtains, individual safes and lamps are provided in each compartment, there is an opportunity to independently regulate temperature. All compartments and service zones are equipped with sockets 2K+Z, 2xUSB of the Valena Classic and Mosaic series from Legrand. The minimalist design of these series is harmoniously combined with a modern interior of cars and provides additional comfort when using electric devices on the way.

It is planned that the first structures with the provided cars will go to a way in October, 2019^[1].
