2023
Sale of the entire Legrand business to IEK Group
On October 12, 2023, it became known about the sale of the entire Russian business Legrand. The buyer of these assets was the Russian electrotechnical company IEK Group.
According to TASS, citing a joint statement by the companies, as part of the concluded deal, IEK Group received three production sites and more than 20 Legrand representative offices in different cities of the Russian Federation. The government commission set key indicators for former Legrand businesses for three years.
Thus, the total revenue of production sites should be about 8.5 billion rubles by 2025. Investments of IEK Group are expected to reach 1 billion rubles for the specified period. The IEK Group adds that when choosing a buyer, Legrand representatives took into account the fact that IEK Group has many years of successful experience in the electrical market and a strong market position.
