2020: Implementation at the station in Neryungri

On December 23, 2020 announced the Press center of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic that the VeDroid Foton robot disinfector — the project of engineers of the SVFU Arctic innovation center and residents of technopark Yakutia — will be implemented at stations of Russian Railways (RR) company in the FEFD. Start of an invention in the test mode starts on December 27 in Neryungri.

The VeDroid Foton robot disinfector will carry out daily air purification by means of two recirculators installed on a mast of the robot. The recirculator is the UF-lamp which is in a metal box in the bottom of which the fan is installed. In development technologies 3-D of modeling, recognition of obstacles online and some other solutions are also used.

According to the founder and the developer of the robot disinfector, the resident of the SVFU Arctic innovation center and Technopark Yakutia Nikolay Potapov, the technician it is already sent to Neryungri, it was necessary to study the station and to train the staff of the Russian Railway of operation of the device.
