In February 2024, the RusClimat trade and production holding (TPH) began transporting cargo on unmanned electric trucks. The project was implemented in the production and warehouse areas of the technopark in Kirzhach, Vladimir Region.
According to TASS, citing the press service of the TPH, we are talking about the use of electric trucks without Evocargo N1 drivers. They allow not only to completely eliminate emissions into the atmosphere, but also to minimize the human factor, making transportation completely accident-free, the holding said.
Trucks operate in continuous mode, making about 40 flights per day on the territory of a total area of 145 thousand square meters. m, the carrying capacity of the transport is 2 tons, and the range is up to 200 km.
It is reported that the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management conducted an analysis of the introduction of autonomous cargo platforms for TPH "RusClimat." The volume of investments in this project has not been disclosed.
Unmanned technologies in transportation are not the future, but the present. The advantages of such projects can be listed for a long time, - comments First Deputy Governor Alexander Remiga. In addition to environmental friendliness and traffic safety, reducing operational risks and reducing the complexity of operations, they also solve the problems of personnel shortages, answering modern challenges in the field of employment. Robots do not replace humans, but allow you to reorient personnel potential to technological areas that require higher qualifications. Thus, the conditions of human labor are improving, and the field of activity as a whole becomes more attractive. The education sector, which should train class specialists, also receives an impetus for development, and the overall investment attractiveness of the region is increasing.[1] |
