The Sentyabr company counts economy as a result of implementation of a satellite control system of transport

The company "September" announced achievement of economy on fuel of 15% by means of GLONASSGPS system / monitoring Omnicomm. Integrator and the contractor in the project Omnicomm-Service company, the press service of integrator reported on November 20, 2012.

Project Results

Work of special equipment of the Moscow company "Sentyabr" which core business - laying of underground services, within 5 last years was controlled by the systems of a satellite GLONASS/GPS of tracking of production of Omnicomm company. Annually the company saved about 15% of the budget for fuel and lubricants and allocated the released funds for updating of the park of the equipment.

Since 2007 on 45 cars of the company the system of satellite control Omnicomm which use helped to save means and to expand vehicle fleet was installed. Now the company operates already 60 pieces of equipment of brands GAZ, ZIL, KAMAZ, the Urals, Mercedes, MAN, ISUZU, Renault Premium, PAZ and compressors. At the beginning of 2013 September is going to carry out the additional equipment of new automotive vehicles by the GLONASS/GPS system of monitoring of transport and control of fuel consumption of Omnicomm of new generation.

Specific Features

Sentyabr LLC notes - in addition to reducing costs of fuel, in the company it was succeeded to improve discipline of driver's structure: the number of sabotages decreased and permanent and uncontrolled drainings of fuel stopped. The CEO of the company Vladimir Burmistrov noted that on the basis of data analysis, received by means of software Omnicomm, the company management took measures for fight against unauthorized actions of drivers – with some explanatory works were carried out, and it was necessary to apply material collectings to some. He added that use of data from the Omnicomm system considerably simplified maintaining accounting records at the enterprise.
