On June 21, 2018 the Xerox company announced delivery of the printing equipment to the State Historical Museum.
Project Objective
In the museum the big park of a printing equipment of different producers worked. Many printers and the MFP in its structure became outdated, were inefficiently located and needed expensive supplies. Organization needed to reduce costs for printing and to optimize work of office infrastructure.
Project Progress
The State Historical Museum addressed for the solution Xerox company. Within two months the contractor booked comprehensive audit of office infrastructure and analyzed printing amount in organization. On the basis of this research experts of the company made the plan of optimization of the park of the printing equipment in the museum.
As a result there took place retrofitting of organization, and the arrangement of devices was corrected taking into account requirements of different departments for printing. In particular, at the end of 2017 — the beginning of 2018 Xerox delivered to the State Historical Museum more than 30 monochrome MFPs: A3 models of the Xerox VersaLink B7035 and A4 format of the Xerox VersaLink B405 format. The Xerox ConnectKey platform which is the cornerstone of the user interface of these devices allows to solve routine tasks more simply and quicker, noted in Xerox company.
Project Results
Thanks to optimization of office document flow the staff of the museum could spend more time for the direct duties, and expenses of organization on printing were cut down for 20%. At the same time operation of printing devices became more convenient.
