"Family" upgraded corporate network of data exchange

On December 17, 2013 the IBS group announced project completion of creation of the protected data network for network of the multi-profile medical centers (Semeynye clinic).

Project Tasks

The leaders of the medical centers were faced by a task to provide creation of the centralized network of information transfer with ensuring due level of its protection, including according to requirements 152-FZ "About personal data protection".

Experts of IBS suggested to combine the solution of these two tasks, having created the protected data network (DN) meeting security requirements of information which show regulators regarding its transfer on open communication links.

For the project selected the certified equipment of production of StoneSoft company.

Project Progress

Specialists of IBS carried out all engineering tasks of connection to provider, started and tested network, transferred traffic from the existing channels on newly created infrastructure. For ensuring mobility of staff of branches of clinics and access to infrastructure of the company from the permitted mobile devices via a secure channel, the solution StoneGate SSL VPN is implemented.

Engineers of IBS developed complex project security solution of personal data and the packet of organizational and administrative documentation defining an operating procedure with personal data in network of the medical centers.

Project Results

With project implementation the staff of the centers had an information exchange opportunity between clinics within the single network protected according to requirements of the law. The developed organizational and administrative documents helped to systematize processing of personal data and to implement a uniform operating procedure with them in all clinics of network.

Dmitry Romanchenko, the director of the center of security technologies of IBS company, noted: "This project – one of examples of complex approach to a task when the problem of information coherence of offices is solved together with a problem of data protection (personal data). For us it was extremely important to implement not only SPD for network of Semeynaya clinics, but to ensure safety of data transmission according to requirements of the legislation".
