2025: Move to Loginom
T2 automated processes and reduced data preparation time from one day to 6 seconds. Migration from Tableau to Loginom's domestic product. The Loginom Company announced this on October 17, 2025.
The T2 team had high technical training (SQL, Python) and used Tableau and Tableau Prep to analyze and prepare data. An audit of internal processes showed that:
- Each user has a unique set of sources and a data preparation process;
- For complex tasks, there was a development queue;
- There was no control and control of the process by Data Office;
- The description of the current business process was time consuming.
Tableau left the Russian market, and at the same time the opportunity to renew licenses, including Tableau Prep, disappeared. T2 needed a solution that:
- It would provide self-service data preparation - data preparation in self-service mode: data collection, research, cleaning, transformation, enrichment and publication;
- It allowed you to work with data from different systems;
- Did not require knowledge; SQL
- It was distinguished by simplicity and ease of use;
- Would provide rapid data-driven hypothesis testing;
- It had an interface for scheduling launches.
The company analyzed Russian systems according to the criteria: functionality, convenience, integration, administration and ease of implementation.
Loginom showed the best result (84.71%) and passed pilot testing:
- This platform fully covers the functionality of Tableau Prep: support for corporate databases and files, a convenient interface;
- Quality support and training: quick ticket answers, course catalog, community, demodermers;
- Registered in the register of domestic software.
As a result, Loginom was selected as the Self-service data preparation enterprise tool.
Loginom was introduced as a web service with the ability to automate:
- Maximum flexibility: integration of Loginom packages into any steps of external business processes;
- Event launches: The ability to run Loginom packages from custom scripts.
- Data transfer for IT: direct data transfer via web services without the use of files and network folders.
After the introduction of Loginom, the T2 team got a tangible effect:
- Automation of routine operations;
- Reduce data preparation time from 1 day to 6 seconds, at least 4,800 times;
- Centralized access and user management;
- Work through the server edition and reduce support load;
- Operational adaptation of processes without modifications by the vendor.
Additional opportunities highlighted by employees:
- Derived components: setting up one module and applying it to different projects;
- Cache and work with data on the fly: visualization in the cube, checking statistics and analysis without uploading data to external systems.
