Tele2, the alternative mobile operator, started in the spring of 2014 the new corporate website − tele2.ru. The company updated design and architecture of an official Internet resource and passed to cloud computing.
When developing new website Tele2 aimed to make it modern and the most convenient for users. In spite of the fact that the appearance of an Internet resource and its structure seriously changed, website Tele2 still simple, laconic and modern.
Together with the partner of the project Softline Tele2 company transferred the website to a cloud. It allowed to provide a reliable failsafe hosting of a resource and to cut down expenses on IT infrastructure.
The new website is designed based on the open Umbraco platform which allows to reduce costs for support and gives ample opportunities for development of the website. On all regional websites of the company the improved content management system and the uniform directory of goods and services is used. Besides, Tele2 implemented the solution Google Search Appliance providing effective information search with high relevance of results.
