2018: Optimization of the systems of SAP

On January 26, 2018 it became known that the IBS company performed optimization of the corporate SAP systems of JSC MTZ TRANSMASH that allowed the client to focus internal IT resources on development of corporate solutions of SAP and further business process automation.

Key business processes of JSC MTZ TRANSMASH are implemented based on information systems of SAP. Since 2013 administration of a SAP complex of JSC MTZ TRANSMASH is completely performed by IBS company.

Within cooperation with JSC MTZ TRANSMASH specialists of IBS developed and implemented the effective approach on support and development of a SAP complex including:

  • The operational help to business users of systems during a closing time of reporting periods and calculations of salaries by forces of IBS;
  • Regular updating of systems to changes in the legislation;
  • Effective distribution of IT resources for the most economic use of the available SAP complex opportunities.

During the project the following modules SAP ERP were involved:

  • Accounting and tax accounting (SAP FI, FI-AA)

  • Warehouse (SD)

2016: Transfer on outsourcing development of all SAP solutions

At the end of 2015 the management of MTZ TRANSMASH made the decision refused use of services of other suppliers and to transfer IBS complete responsibility for operation and development of all SAP solutions implemented in the company. Thus, now are transferred to outsourcing to IBS: basis administration of a SAP landscape (including support of operating environment, SAP basis and DBMS), user support and functional support (including modules of management of finance, logistics, personnel, the business analyst). Also IBS company, being a certified partner of SAP company, provides the first support line of a SAP software and performs interaction with a global support service of vendor.

Thus, the customer will get support on all questions connected with operability of his systems of SAP from one supplier through a uniform contact point. For the customer request processing of users, the solution of the integration problems which are on functionality joints significantly accelerated and risks of nonserviceability of systems decreased. At the same time thanks to consolidation and process optimization of maintenance and use of standard approaches to the organization of support the IBS company provided to MTZ TRANSMASH more than 20% of economy of costs for maintenance.

2014: A SAP environment Transmash of MTZ supports IBS

On February 24, 2014 the IBS group announced the beginning of the project of outsourcing support of smooth functioning and information security of a corporate system of management on the SAP platform for JSC MTZ TRANSMASH.

Project Tasks

For process management of accounting and integration of different information systems into JSC MTZ TRANSMASH [1] the ERP system on the SAP platform in 2011 is implemented.

Having designated the purpose - smooth operation of a corporate information system at simultaneous reduction of operating costs, the management of JSC MTZ TRANSMASH decided to transfer maintenance functions to external specialized suppliers. The IBS company offered to the customer optimal conditions and technology of providing such services. According to arrangements, IBS undertakes obligations - to ensure smooth operation of a system, including bears the financial responsibility at its nonserviceability.

Project Progress

Since October 1, 2013 responsibility for operability of a SAP environment is transferred to IBS. Within three days specialists experts of IBS booked general audit of a system. Based on audit formulated recommendations about elimination of critical problems and optimization of settings of a system which will allow to increase performance and reliability of its work.

In the course of maintenance planned works on implementation of the recommendations recorded within audit of a system, by means of what were carried out:

  • to 10 min. the response time is reduced by the critical problems which arose in systems;
  • the average time of a response of the productive systems to actions of users in a system is reduced by 35% (in peak time – for 28%);
  • the average time of a dialogue request from SAP to DBMS is reduced by 27%;
  • solve a problem of shutdown of sessions of users.

Initiative proposals of the contractor are implemented:

  • creation of a system of printing (ADS),
  • implementation of technology of a single input (SSO).

Distribution of user licenses of SAP is optimized by the booked audit.
