TopLog implemented TopLog WMS in "Фотосклад.ру"

2020: TopLog WMS implementation

On December 14, 2020 the TopLog company announced implementation of TopLog WMS in "Фотосклад.ру"

According to the company, the management of "Фотосклад.ру" addressed experts TopLog with the purpose to automate a warehouse of 1,300 sq.m on which square 6,000 nomenclature names are placed. Independent implementation by the customer of the solution TopLog WMS and existence of an open program code for further maintaining a system by own efforts was the compulsory provision.

Need for automation was dictated not only the growing requirements to e-commerce to the companies, but also a number of tasks which needed to be solved. Among them – optimization of quality and speed of work of employees of a warehouse, minimization of quantity of errors because of a human factor, regrading. In a warehouse of the customer there was no system of address storage and there was an overestimated dependence on personnel.

During the project it was necessary to consider existence of two logistical channels in a warehouse – for wholesale and retail buyers. Processing rules of loads and merchandising for each of channels are different, transfer of goods from one channel is provided in another. Other feature of a warehouse – existence of help accounting of serial numbers and IMEI of goods. All products are divided into accounting groups with the certain storage areas.

The command TopLog booked audit of a warehouse, designed model of future WMS system for this warehouse object, made all necessary settings, integration of WMS with CIS, test and industrial starts, provided personnel training. Final start directly in commercial operation was independently performed by specialists of "Фотосклад.ру".

During implementation of TopLog WMS all initially assigned tasks were solved:

• Accuracy of a remaining balance of products in a warehouse increased up to 99.9%;
• Were optimized management of warehouse stocks;
• Were optimized the speed of selection of products;
• Placement of goods happens on an algorithm, all data with the help of the shipping documentation are entered in a system;
• The system of address storage taking into account zoning, a piking, is implemented by algorithms of zoning, arrival expense;
• Carrying out inventory became simpler – it is carried out without stopping a warehouse;
• The management turned out access to all necessary reports helping to manage a warehouse.

The open program code of TopLog WMS allows the customer to customize independently a system under business needs.
