The Softline company completed the large-scale program for workflow automation of "Ural Civil Aviation Works" (UCAW) based on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, the company reported on December 11, 2012.

Prior to project implementation the large volume of paper document flow was processed in the organization manually. Daily due to the lack of the automation system of accounting of documents before the management there were problems connected with their long search, identification of communications between them with control of performing discipline and a delay of documents in processing, and on providing status reports on documentation too much time left.
The plant's management made the decision on transfer of document flow to an electronic form. Specialists of Softline company suggested to implement the solution on automation of workflow processes on the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 platform.
Solution
After the booked audit of business processes of the plant the optimal adjustments of the solution corresponding to basic needs of the customer taking into account specific features of activity of the enterprise are designed.

According to the results of project implementation the efficiency of information processing at the expense of the system of the automatic notification of employees by e-mail about need of acceptance of certain actions grew. Thanks to server solutions on work with information reliability of its storage and processing grew. Besides, the management of the enterprise received the effective instrument of control of document handling and as result, – increase in performing discipline due to automatic recording of authors and time spent on all changes of data. Moreover, processes of creation of reports on the processed documentation became simpler and accelerated – now preparation of the report takes less than one minute. Among main advantages there are uses by Softline of the automation system of office-work created by specialists it is possible to select also fast and productive multicriteria document retrieval according to details and a possibility of viewing logical relationships between different document types.
