CIS of Omega Production helps to assemble the trains "Swallow"

On May 25, 2013 the official start was given to production of high-speed electric trains Swallow at the Ural Locomotives enterprise in Verkhnyaya Pyshma of Sverdlovsk region.

By the time of start at the enterprise for the Electric trains project the information system of technical training, planning and production management based on CIS of "Omega Production" was already implemented.

The term of project implementation was eight calendar months. During this time specialists of Department of information technologies of the enterprise and specialists of OmegaSoftware company did work on personnel training, development and adaptation of the software, control of correctness and converting of data. Within the project of adaptation and implementation of CIS of "OmegaProduction" the following works were performed:

• Implementation of integration into the TeamCenter system
• Implementation of the module of technical training of production
• Implementation of the module of volume scheduling
• Implementation of the module of accounting of course of production according to shop podetalny diagrams and documents of accounting
• Implementation of the module of inventory management and logistics

For June, 2013 the project continues to develop in the following directions:

• Implementation of the module of controlling
• Product quality control
• Sales management
• Management of repairs of the equipment
• Management of service maintenance of finished goods in use.

In parallel with implementation of the project on Electric trains implementation of the project on Lokomotiv (certain production site of the plant) where there is even more difficult task is conducted, the production without stopping operating to pass from used at the enterprise tekhnologichesko - the production system (written on FoxPro more than 15 years ago) to a system Omega.
