2025: Completion of transition to Tessa

VTB has completed the transition to the Russian system for coordinating financial documents. Now thousands of bank employees perform over 9 million operations per month on the basis of the Russian ECM platform Tessa. The bank announced this on November 10, 2025.

This system retained the usual graphical and software interface and expanded the functionality, which allowed users and related services to continue working in the usual scenarios. Employees can quickly create and approve more than 30 types of documents: from advance reports and commissioning certificates to contractual accounting, powers of attorney and requests from government agencies.

By increasing the number of transactions and users by almost 10%, we were able to reduce the total cost of ownership, which made it possible to reduce the cost of a single transaction and achieve higher operational efficiency. It was important for our team that the new system not only worked, but really increased the efficiency of employees on a daily basis, "said Natalya Surova, head of VTB's financial department.
