The Webinar platform expanded the presence at data center of IXcellerate

2020: Installation of additional elements of IT infrastructure in DPC of IXcellerate Moscow Two

IXcellerate, the operator of commercial data centers in Russia, and Webinar Group, the developer of cloud services for online actions and dissemination of knowledge, signed the agreement on cooperation increase. It became known on October 27, 2020.

This agreement provides installation of additional elements of IT infrastructure of the customer in data center of Moscow Two. In the summer of 2020 of a command of both companies completed the project of expansion which included installation of additional racks with the equipment and their direct connection to telecom operators (RETN, MTS, Mastertel).

Webinar Group selected IXcellerate from quality partner outsourcing according to the results of monitoring of the Russian market of DPC and its leading players. The key factors which defined the choice became an opportunity to provide a territorial raznesyonnost of IT infrastructure and the high reliability of data centers of IXcellerate confirmed with the certificate of Tier III.

Need for additional capacities arose at Webinar Group in the first half of 2020 in connection with sharply increased demand for online communications and distance learning. The number of visits of webinars on its platform in April reached 7 million. For satisfaction of the growing requests for online communications the company activated developments for expansion of the technological capabilities. In June, 2020 it announced the alpha of the b2b-product Webinar Meetings — the tool for meetings, the training actions, meetings with clients, joint work and creativity.

At the Russian market of services for online communications big perspectives: in our country the level of penetration of such technologies into life of people and corporate practice is much lower so far, than in the USA and Europe. 2019: Transfer of network equipment in DPC of IXcellerate Moscow One

In 2019 Webinar Group transferred the server and network equipment to data center of Moscow One of IXcellerate company.
