2022: Introduction of Axelot WMS X5

On October 19, 2022, AXELOT announced that the Belaya Dolina Group of Companies had introduced the AXELOT WMS X5 ice cream warehouse.

According to the company, during the project, the configuration of the warehouse topology in the system was made with the indication of real coordinates and calculation of real distances, which makes it possible to plan operations of placement, selection and movement of goods taking into account optimization of the total mileage of equipment and personnel.

Since the goods are registered in the warehouse not by quantity, but by tonnage, a special requisite was displayed in AXELOT WMS X5. During acceptance, the operator fills in the weight data of each conduit, after which inside the warehouse the goods move only in a conduit, and are shipped again taking into account both the conduit and weight. In addition, the weight of the canceled goods is now transferred upon cancellation of the selection. The total weight of the item is displayed by line in the inventory report.

Additionally, the number of significant components of the barcode was increased, props were added to the structure, into which the weight of a particular box is filled. And when performing an inventory, the employee also checks the actual weight of the box, comparing it with the one that is placed in the barcode.

The warehouse uses several types of replenishment of goods - first, the search for the goods for replenishment is carried out in the front racks (only the selection cells of the front racks are replenished). If the goods are not found in the area of the front racks, the search for inventory is carried out in the padded racks. In this case, only the collecting cell of the packing rack, which is located under the found storage cell, is replenished. In all cases, the replenishment is carried out using the Min/Max method, the minimum and maximum number of each storage object is determined in reference to the zone.

As a result of the project, thanks to the implementation of AXELOT WMS X5, Belaya Dolina Group was able to modernize warehouse logistics and bring the ice cream warehouse to the next technological level that meets the standards of the Group of Companies.
