Project date: 2025/02

On February 17, 2025, Yandex B2B Tech (a division of Yandex developing technologies for the corporate sector) and the Baltika brewing company announced an expansion of cooperation. As part of the agreement, Baltika will switch to Yandex 360 for Business office solutions, abandoning Microsoft Office 365.

The brewing company says the collaboration with Yandex B2B Tech is an important step towards building effective engagement with digital ecosystems that will have a positive impact on the entire domestic consumer goods market. As of mid-February 2024, more than 70% of Baltika employees switched to Yandex 360 for Business. In the future, the parties intend to jointly look for new ways to use Yandex technologies to solve operational problems. In addition, Yandex B2B Tech will help Baltika with the introduction of digital products and organize employee training.

In addition to Yandex 360 for Business, Baltika uses Yandex Cloud cloud services to organize electronic document management. Other internal services, including accounting systems and sales management services, are planned to be moved to the cloud platform. Baltika also uses Yandex solutions for delivery and logistics tasks. The goal of cooperation is, among other things, to optimize business processes.

The financial terms of the transaction at the time of its conclusion were not officially disclosed. Experts interviewed by Forbes believe that the amount of the contract can be approximately 45 million rubles a year. At the same time, Baltika could receive a significant discount, taking into account the number of employees who require Yandex 360 tools for business. As of 2024, about 10 thousand people work in the brewing company.[1]
