The head of the region stressed that an important task is the digitalization of executive authorities. This is necessary to increase the efficiency and speed of decision-making, which will allow residents of the Upper Volga region to quickly receive the necessary services in medicine, housing and communal services, education, culture and other areas. All socially significant state and municipal services must be provided in electronic form and are available at a convenient time for citizens. By July 2024, almost 1 million users were registered on the public services portal, who have received more than a million different services since 2022.

Rudenya focused on the development of regional portals and services in demand among residents and guests of the Upper Volga region - tourist, social and others. Particular attention is paid to the development of digital capabilities of multifunctional centers (MPSC). To implement these tasks, work is underway to increase the coverage of the territories of the region with access to the Internet and improve the quality of communication, including on the roads of the region. The main directions are the federal highways M-9, M-10 and M-11, as well as the Golden Ring R-132.

As part of improving the quality of communication, it is planned to improve the coverage of roads connecting district centers, such as Vyshny Volochek - Sonkovo, Ostashkov - Rzhev, Bezhetsk - Kashin and other routes. In 2024, 41 base stations will be installed to improve cellular communications on the roads.[1]
