History

2022: "Pro" bought a stake in TutGood

In July 2022, it became known about the investment of the Pro service in TutGood. The amount and other parameters of the transaction are not disclosed. It is only known that Profi received 10% of the startup.

The founder of Maximum Education, Mikhail Myagkov, in a conversation with Forbes, estimated the transaction value at 20-30 million rubles, taking into account the growth of the startup in the first half of 2022. The assessment of Sergey Toporov, partner of the Leta Capital venture fund, is slightly more optimistic - 30-50 million rubles.

Marketplace services "Pro" bought a stake in TutGood

United Investors co-founder Alexander Gorny does not rule out that the deal could be cash-strapped. In his opinion, "Pro" could pay with "traffic" or "integrations."

TutGood expects that investments and "close integration" of Pro's business models and educational service will allow the startup to accelerate the growth of its client base and occupy a significant share of the online tutoring market in the short term.

The representative of "Pro" Andrei Novikov believes that the synergy of the products "Pro" and TutGood "has a powerful potential." According to him, the search for tutors is the most important business area of the marketplace.

We have been cooperating with TutGood for more than six months, we see the talent and enthusiasm of the founders of the project and invested in the company so that it continues to develop at the maximum pace, "he said on July 22, 2022.[1]

2020: Platform launch

Startup TutGood was launched at the end of 2020 by three founders: Ivan Kolankov, Konstantin Klimentiev and Artem Tatulov.
