2021

Name change to "Pro"

The specialist search service has Profi.ru changed its name to "Profi." The corresponding statement was made on November 22, 2021.

In addition to changing the name, the service introduced a new logo - it is written in Cyrillic without characters and the "ru" domain.

This is the first rebranding since the Profi.ru was founded in 2014, representatives of the company noted. The changes are due to customers mostly using the mobile app rather than the site.

Initially, we wanted to carefully update the logo so that it was still easy to recognize: remove the "ru" and slightly change the color and shape of the letter. But during the work there were many experiments and with radical changes. In one of the options, a Cyrillic version appeared, which everyone liked. According to the marketing director of Profi Aleksei Rayevsky, over the course of seven years, the habits of service users have changed markedly. Now most customers and specialists use the mobile application, and do not enter the site address in the browser.

The new corporate identity for the service was developed by the ONY agency. In support of the updated design, Profi launched a campaign in Moscow: outdoor advertising on the facades on the Arbat and in Moscow City, as well as transit advertising on public transport. A branded bus will travel through the city center, and the Aeroexpress train will travel from Paveletsky railway station to Domodedovo airport.

It is noted that the change of name and logo was the first step in a large redesign. "Pro" also plans to update the interface of the mobile application and the site.
