Biography

2014-2017: Work as the CEO in Infosys

In 2014 Vishal Sikka was appointed the CEO of Infosys company which is among the IT outsourcers, largest in India. Before joining Infosys, it was the technical director of SAP, and left the German company "for personal motives". In SAP he among other things was engaged in development of the SAP HANA system.

According to Business Insider, Vishal Sikka expected to receive a position of the CEO of SAP or to receive other promotion, but then Bill McDermott preferred to head SAP alone.

2019: Work in Oracle for $2000 per hour

On December 9, 2019 Oracle announced Vishal Sikki's entry into Board of Directors of the company. From the relevant documents provided to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the American producer of corporate software signed with the former top manager of SAP the three-months agreement on providing consulting services.

According to Business Insider, Oracle paid Vishala Sikke for $2000 per hour for providing consultations in the field of the database management systems (DMS) and artificial intelligence. Its work is expected 20-50 hours a month for which he can earn $40-100 thousand.

In addition to this salary, Vishal Sikka will receive bonuses and shares for membership in Board of Directors of Oracle. The amount of these remunerations is not called.
