Add Artifacts section

SKB Kontur on April 16, 2024 announced a major update. The service has a section "Artifacts." Now each user can quickly find the meeting they participated in and return to what the participants discussed.

Artifacts include everything that helps to immerse yourself in the context of negotiations and record the results of the meeting. These are correspondence from chats, survey results, conference recordings with ready-made transcripts. The user does not need to download documents to the device. All files are available in the cloud, and a link to the artifact is easy to send to a colleague who missed the meeting.

A single space helps your business work more efficiently. In the service, you can create employee data, give them access and roles, and manage settings. Contour. Tolk combines video communication, corporate chats, a platform for webinars and a system for creating online courses.

The collaboration suite will continue to expand. Interactive whiteboards and notes will be available to users in 2024.

The appearance of the messenger

The video communication service Kontur.Tolk has its own messenger. SKB Kontur announced this on April 4, 2024.

Now you can hold online meetings and conduct working correspondence in a single space. Users can create meeting invitations by clicking on one button in the dialog.

Chats in Kontur. The table is designed for effective communication with colleagues: the messenger has open and closed channels, threads for discussion. You can share files, videos and pictures, mention users and set reactions.

Correspondence is synchronized on all devices. The message will not be lost if the recipient was offline. The developers have taken care of security: only employees of the organization receive access to the service. And thanks to integration with the employee's address book, it is easy to find by first and last name.

Chats allow you to transfer communication with colleagues to one service adapted for corporate communications. Polls show that more than half of Russians use a public messenger to solve work issues - this prevents them from focusing on tasks during the day and distracting themselves from them on vacation.

In Sense, it is convenient to track the loading of colleagues by status, configure push notifications, use filters to group dialogs by priority. If during the correspondence, the participants realized that the issue needs to be discussed in detail, they create an online meeting using one button.

Optimizing Video Service for Virtual Desktops

The Contour developers have optimized the video communication service for virtual desktops.

The solution allows remote employees of Russian companies to safely and efficiently conduct online meetings.

Desktop Virtualization Tools (VDI) are used to organize the work of remote employees. The workstation is started on a remote server, and data is not transferred to the specialist's personal device.

The solution is in demand in banks, IT companies, industrial enterprises and other organizations that have special security requirements. VDI allows a business to protect internal information from leakage and optimize costs for the underlying infrastructure.

The developers of the Kontur video communication service have optimized the application for working on VMware Horizon and Citrix Workspace. The update made it possible to ensure uninterrupted operation of the application in a virtual environment and minimize the load on the remote server.

At the same time, the user works with the service, as he is used to: he launches the Tolka application and holds online meetings. Video and sound remain of high quality - like the rest of the employees who work in the office.
