The ability to withdraw cash from virtual cards

On July 8, 2020, QIWI announced the launch of cash withdrawals from virtual cards.

This option is available to owners of the QIWI Wallet with the released QIWI virtual card. QIWI also notes the growing demand for virtual cards, the total number of which at the beginning of July 2020 exceeded 11.4 million.

You can withdraw money at ATMs of all banks equipped with a contactless module. To withdraw funds, you need to add a card to contactless payments from Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay.

The virtual card has a common balance with the QIWI Wallet. The client can increase the balance of the card through replenishment of the wallet, in a similar way and withdrawing funds from the card will lead to a decrease in the balance of the wallet. Also, with the help of a QIWI virtual card, you can pay for purchases on sites where the QIWI Wallet is not used as a means of payment, but Visa cards are accepted.

The virtual card can be released on the website or in the QIWI Wallet mobile application in one click - users do not need to go to the office or wait for a courier. The client instantly receives the details: number, validity period and CVV code - this data is enough to start using the virtual card. After the end of self-isolation, this opportunity remains convenient and relevant.
