2017: Beginning of sales of cloud services of Microsoft

In October, 2017 Sberbank and Microsoft in Russia signed the agreement on cooperation. In its framework to provide to Sberbankbudet cloud services of Microsoft: in total the bank will offer the Russian companies more than 80 cloud services of this vendor.

Among services based on Microsoft Azure which will become available clients of bank:

  • services for face recognition and emotions which, for example, can be used for authorization and also for assessment of satisfaction of visitors of retail chain stores,
  • tools for work with Big Data and Internet of Things,
  • services of monitoring and data protection – in a cloud, on mobile devices and in local infrastructure,
  • management tools hybrid and heterogeneous environments and many other things.

Sberbank expands a portfolio of non-bank servs

At the time of the announcement of cooperation Sberbank began sales of SberOffice service based on Office 365 for a segment of small and medium business. He turns on office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and dr), the communication medium and joint work (Skype for business, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams), tools of analytics (Power BI) and also the applications allowing to automate normal business processes of the small companies of the service industry (Microsoft StaffHub and Bookings).

Earlier in Sberbank spoke about the planned cooperation with Microsoft for accomplishment of tasks of diversification of the service portfolio and to development of non-bank services.

By the time of start of the first cloud services of Microsoft Sberbank already provides a number of services on similar model in cooperation with different developers. In September, for example, the bank started for the clients cloud CRM based on the product FreshOffice.

In September the cloud service for management of small business integrating sales, purchases, a warehouse, finance and a management system of customer relation (CRM) in one system under the name "My Trade" also became available to clients of Sberbank.

According to the similar scheme Sberbank provides also other online services connected with accounting, a business intelligence, etc. "My trade" is integrated with these products, including online cash desk Evotor (operator — Evotor), Business intelligence (operator — Seeneco — Information Systems), "Service of the guaranteed calculations" (operator — Sberbank-AST) and Moyabukhgalteriya Online (the operator — My Case).
