"The management of mechanization No. 4" made replacement of a control system of transport

On April 28, 2014 it became known of equipment of the park of the Managements of Mechanization No. 4 construction equipment monitoring systems of Omnicomm company. Implementation works and setup of systems were carried out by Omnicomm-Service company.

Project Tasks

Earlier in "UM-4" the monitoring system was used, but the needs for control of the equipment were satisfied partially. The company needed the reliable and exact control system of fuel having a possibility of accounting of a consumption of fuel and lubricants the equipment, not leaving the building site.

Project Progress

During the project navigation terminals Omnicomm Optim and Omnicomm Profi, sensors of fuel Omnicomm LLS equip more than 60 pieces of equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes of average and big loading capacity. At the same time on 6 fuelers specialized systems were installed Omnicomm FTC that allowed to take under control all chain of turnover of fuel and lubricants in the company – from receiving at gas station before use on building sites.

Project Results

Decrease in fuel consumption not less, than for 15-20% depending on equipment type and also optimization of interservice intervals and economy of funds for purchase of spare parts and carrying out TO became result of implementation of the equipment Omnicomm. The management of the enterprise customer received a real picture of use of the equipment, including operation of the engine and additional mechanisms that allowed to exclude additions at work time management. The payback period of the equipment made about 3 months for the road-building equipment and one month for refuelers.
