CSBI Group completed pilot system testing of control of the harvest equipment of St. Petersburg

On June 24, 2014 the CSBI Group company announced end of a pilot project, together with SCOUT Group within which the aircraft navigation equipment SCOUT connected to the System of Complex Automation of Transport (SCAT) was tested for a possibility of operational management of vehicle fleet of the harvest equipment involved in improvement and the maintenance of the city of St. Petersburg.

Project Results

Integration of the SKAT system into the monitoring equipment of SCOUT Group helped with coordination and control over special equipment involved in complex cleaning of the city. A system provides creation and planning of address programs, formation of special geozones of filling with fuel/waters/reagents, dispatching regulation and also report generation about the volume of execution of works, a run, use of the hinged equipment.

Within a pilot project the aircraft equipment installed on the harvest equipment within several months was tested in actual practice operation. The received results of the tests which are carried out by specialists of CSBI Group and SCOUT Group showed system effectiveness and prospects of joint participation in the solution of similar tasks.

"In our practice it is not the first experience of use of a System SCOUT for the purpose of monitoring of operation of the harvest equipment. But in a case with this project from us and our partner it was required to provide satellite control of the park with transport of different type. The complete solution allowing to control fully all units of the city equipment irrespective of specifics and features of use of different machines was as a result developed", - Sergey Sukhov, the top manager of department of city sales of SCOUT Group noted.
"This pilot project of implementation of the automated control system "SLOPE" for ensuring control of operation of the harvest equipment confirmed the stated systems capabilities and proved its efficiency. Separately I want to note that in today's competitive market of providing GLONASSGPS/-services of the greatest success can achieve, working in partnership with colleagues from "workshop".
