Primorsky Regional Perinatal Center

GBUZ "Primorsky Regional Perinatal Center" is a large medical and preventive institution. The main objectives of the institution are to reduce the rates of maternal and infant mortality and morbidity; provision of specialized, including high-tech medical care for pregnant women, women in labor and newborns; providing advisory medical and diagnostic assistance to medical institutions of the Primorsky Territory; reducing childhood disability; conducting sanitary and educational work among the population (as of August 2022).

History

2025: Purchase of medical equipment for 115 million rubles

On October 28, 2025, the perinatal center of Primorsky Krai announced the acquisition of 48 units of medical equipment. The total cost of new equipment aimed at saving the life and health of newborns and women exceeded 115 million rubles.

This equipment has already been distributed to key departments of the center: maternity, pediatric and adult resuscitation, as well as to the second stage of nursing. The priority of our work is the health of expectant mothers and their babies, - commented the head physician of the center Tatyana Kurleeva. - Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Health of Primorye, the government of the region and the country, we constantly replenish the center with the most advanced equipment, introduce our own methods, and our doctors regularly increase their knowledge at leading educational sites.

As the press service of the center notes, it owes regular updates to the initiative of the Ministry of Health of the Territory and personally the Minister of Health Yevgeny Shestopalov. This year, the institution received high-tech equipment: a neuromonitor, 3 ventilators, 2 UZ-diagnostics devices for newborns, 20 syringe pumps, 2 open resuscitation systems and other specialized equipment.^[1]

2014

Reorganization

In accordance with the order of the Administration of the Primorsky Territory of July 22, 2014 No. 260-ra, the Institution was reorganized by joining the Regional State Budgetary Health Institution "Vladivostok Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 2" to the State Budgetary Health Institution "Primorsky Regional Perinatal Center" with the transfer of all rights and obligations.

Creation of Primorsky Regional Perinatal Center

The state budgetary health care institution "Primorsky Regional Perinatal Center" was created on the basis of the order of the Administration of the Primorsky Territory dated April 14, 2014 No. 111-ra "On the creation of the state budgetary health care institution" Primorsky Regional Perinatal Center "by its establishment."
