2018: System implementation of virtual work places
The Technoserv company, the Russian system integrator, at the beginning of January, 2018 announced end of the first stage of the project on system implementation of virtual work places of users on VDI technology (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) for the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
The project is implemented within development of automated information system of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (the AIS of RPF). AIS RPF-2 is the information system of the next generation intended for accounting of citizens in the system of mandatory pension insurance, the organization and maintaining information about each insured person for implementation of his pension rights. The RPF of Russia contains 84 departments of the regional level and more than two thousand Territorial Departments, the centers to destination and pension payment of district level. All of them are users of AIS RPF-2.
Tasks
One of points of development of a system of RPF is ensuring centralization which provides streamlining of license policy and procedures of updating of the consumer software, simplification of operation and maintenance. The qualitative solution of this task is use of infrastructure of virtual desktops which including allows to achieve optimization of IT expenses and to provide mobility of users, told in Technoserv.
Deployment of the infrastructure module AIS RPF-2 and providing 5 thousand staff of territorial authorities of RPF of virtual work places for use of VDI technology in AIS RPF-2 became the purpose of the first stage of the project. Employees of a client service of RPF became the main users of the solution directly.
Project Progress
Within the contract specialists Technoserv conducted examination of the current infrastructure of a system of RPF, executed design, developed the project documentation of the solution, carried out commissioning and comprehensive tests of a system of virtual work places.
Project Results
The infrastructure of VDI created on five platforms of DPC of RPF in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Kazan, Ulan-Ude which included became result of the works performed by integrator:
- servers of local assembly (YADRO),
- network equipment (switches Extreme Networks
- balancers of loading of F5),
- cryptogateways (Infotecs|Infotecs),
- system of virtualization VMware vSphere,
- software-defined DWH (VMware of vSAN)
- and the solution VDI based on VMware Horizon software.
5 thousand user virtual machines are created, works on integration of a system with unrolled in IT infrastructure of RPF by an authentication system, a monitoring system, a directory service and components of information security are carried out.
The current project on system implementation of VDI is the first stage of the large-scale project on virtualization of jobs in all departments of RPF of Russia. 5 thousand employees of a client service of RPF through the whole country already use a system in the work, and we with confidence can tell that practice of its application became successful. It confirms that the technology can be spread gradually around on all jobs which total number is more than 130 thousand — the head of the department of infrastructure management of AIS RPF-2 Pavel Hripunov reported. |
Creation of a hyper convergent solution architecture using software-defined DWH based on a product of VMware of vSAN became feature of the project that allowed to cut down storage expenses of data, to simplify implementation and solution maintenance — Alexey Kopeykin, the director of business development of Technoserv company noted. — Besides, we work deeply out a problem of information security. In particular, integration with such components of security systems of the customer as means of cryptographic protection, a hardware module of a trusted boot, the system of prevention of leaks (DLP) and antivirus protection is made. Besides, we provide technical support of the created solution. |
2014-2015: Outsourcing service of KSPD
On August 19, 2014 the Technoserv company started rendering services in outsourcing service the equipment of the corporate data network (CDN) of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (RPF) until the end of the current 2014.
Project Tasks
Project geography - all territory of Russia, 83 territorial subjects of the federation. More than 2.5 thousand service platforms include. The range of services on maintenance of the equipment of KSPD RPF includes consulting services, scheduled maintenance, rescue and recovery operations.
Within the contract Technoserv until the end of the year it is necessary to provide round the clock smooth functioning the equipment and software of central nodes (the main and reserve) KSPD RPF, trunk and regional network segments and also a regional segment of a corporate telephone network of executive directorate.
The equipment of subsystems is a part of the serviced equipment:
- telecommunications (converters, modems; routers; firewalls; proxy servers; the caching servers),
- local computer network,
- uninterrupted power supply,
- telephone communication (office telephone exchanges; equipment for the IP telephony; devices for a traffic compression; subscriber telephone devices),
- video conferencings.
The equipment is transferred to maintenance: Avaya, Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Polycom, Huawei, Hewlett Packard, Extreme Networks and NetApp.
The service Service Desk of Technoserv which should accept round the clock addresses by the phone number, free for all regions of Russia, by fax, by e-mail or through web access to the system of technical support of Technoserv will become "single window" for the address of specialists of the customer on all questions of maintenance.
Service Desk will register requests and incidents, to define a priority of a problem and if examination of specialists of this service appears insufficiently for the solution of the arisen incident or other task, to transfer to the relevant division of round the clock functioning Competence Center providing support of expert level for specialists. Rendering services in the agreement will be performed with observance of requirements of SLA with strict requirements on time of response to an incident.

In all government institutions large-scale, difficult and exacting IT systems for which service not only highly qualified and expensive personnel, but also the accurate, methodologically verified processes of rendering services considering both industry experience, and specifics of a public sector are necessary work now".
Project Development
On March 3, 2015 the Technoserv company announced contract signature on rendering services in outsourcing hardware maintenance of the corporate data network (CDN) of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (RPF) until the end of 2015. The cost of works on the contract will be more than 480 million rubles.

On the basis of KSPD automated information system of RPF (the AIS of RPF) functions. It services about 118 thousand internal users. Average information volume, the processed AIS of RPF in day, is 120 GB. The total volume of databases is 247.5 TB. An annual gain of information in databases - 2.7 TB. The portal of RPF processes daily on peak indicators up to 900 thousand requests. For March 3, 2015 in the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation several tens of applications supported on a centralized basis and several hundred applications developed at the regional level of RPF are operated. The interacting applications communicate by the principle "everyone with everyone".
The range of services on maintenance of KSPD RPF consists from:
- ensuring smooth functioning of the equipment by means of accomplishment preventive, rescue and recovery operations,
- works on configuring and setup of the equipment.
Experts of Technoserv should give consulting support to the customer's specialists operating the equipment of information and telecommunication infrastructure of RPF.
Within the contract Technoserv will provide 24 hours a day 7 days a week until the end of the year smooth functioning of the equipment and software of central nodes (the main and reserve) KSPD RPF, trunk and regional network segments and also a regional segment of a corporate telephone network of executive directorate of RPF.
As a part of serviced, the equipment of subsystems:
- subsystems of telecommunications (the converters, modems, routers, firewalls, proxy servers caching servers),
- subsystems of a local computer network,
- subsystems of uninterrupted power supply,
- subsystems of telephone communication (office telephone exchanges, the equipment for the IP telephony, devices for a traffic compression, subscriber telephone devices),
- subsystems of a video conferencing and data storage.
